Intelligent transportation system research and Development Center (its R&D center) is mainly engaged in the research and development work in the fields of traffic guidance and evacuation technology, intelligent public transport system analysis and design, road traffic information system analysis and design, road traffic information fusion processing technology, traffic state dynamic identification technology, traffic organization and control technology, traffic system impact analysis technology, road traffic demand management theory and method, etc, covering most of the intelligent transportation system.
Its R&D center has some teachers and researchers who are also members of the discipline evaluation group of the State Council, vice-chairmen of the China Transportation System Engineering Association, judges of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, members of the National intelligent transportation system expert group, executive directors of the China transportation planning and Research Association, directors of the China Association of road traffic safety, and the chairmen of Jilin communications engineering society.
In recent years, the center has won three second prizes and one third prize of the national science and technology progress awards, one first prize of provincial and ministerial level science and technology progress award, four second prizes of provincial and ministerial level science and technology progress awards, one third prize of provincial and ministerial level science and Technology Progress Award, one scientific research achievement award of the US Department of transportation, one second prize and one third prize of science and technology progress awards of the whole army, two science and technology progress awards of Daqing City, one second prize and one third prize of teaching achievements of Jilin Provincial Education Commission, which are in a leading position among similar colleges and universities.
Since 2001, the center has completed more than 60 projects above the provincial and ministerial level, including 3 goal-oriented projects in the national 863 program during the 11th five-year plan, 4 exploration projects in the national 863 program, 2 major national science and technology projects in the 10th five-year plan, and more than 10 national fund projects (2 key projects), respectively, which have achieved international leading, international advanced and domestic leading research results.
The center has also published 10 academic monographs, professional teaching materials and scientific and technological reading materials, more than 300 high-level academic papers published in core professional journals and famous international academic conferences, and nearly 180 papers included by international famous collection systems such as SCI, EI and ISTP. At present, it has undertaken more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial projects.
Through cooperation with more than 10 enterprises such as China Potevio and Shang Hai Baokang, the center has realized the industrialization of scientific research achievements and has been widely used in more than 150 projects in 26 provinces, cities and autonomous regions, such as Guangdong and Hong Kong. It has effectively alleviated the traffic congestion and congestion in the application cities, and achieved great social and economic benefits.
